Russian Authors’ Society and Russian Youth Union have entered into an agreement providing for the protection of intellectual rights during the Russian Student Spring event.
“The document is aimed at ensuring the protection of the results of intellectual activity and means of individualization in the implementation of the program for the support and development of student creativity “The Russian Student Spring”, – said the executive director of Russian Authors’ Society Alexei Karelov.
“We are very pleased that the management of the festival is responsible for the protection of intellectual property and complies with the legislation in this sphere. On its turn, Russian Authors’ Society and its partner organizations, including, for example, the National Fund for Copyright Holders’ Support, have been supporting the festival for many years and sent their representatives to the jury of the competition. At various stages of the festival, we will participate in organizing remuneration payments to authors whose works are performed at the festival venues,” – added the executive director of Russian Authors’ Society.
The Russian Student Spring has been held since 1993; it welcomes over 1 million representatives of more than 1.2 thousand Russian universities and colleges.
