From August 22 to 23, 2021, the VI International Festival “Jazz Seasons” will be held in the Museum-Reserve ‘Gorki Leninskiye’ near Moscow. The event received the status of an international festival thanks to the efforts of Igor Butman, the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. Mr. Butman invited foreign bands that were stuck in Russia at the time when the pandemic was announced to participate in the festivities.

According to the artist, even with such strict restrictions the upcoming festival can be called international. Jazz bands from Latin America (Cuba, Dominican Republic) and the USA will perform at the festival.

As follows from the program of the event, foreign participants will demonstrate their skills on August 22. On August 22, Carlos Hechavarra & Jazz Park from Cuba, Joander Santos – a quartet from Brazil, will perform.

And on August 23, the singer Fantine will appear on the stage, who stayed in Russia together with her band during the pandemic. She will be accompanied by Sergey Mazaev, Oleg Akkuratov’s trio, Larisa Dolina, the SeemForJazz band, Oleg Butman’s quartet and Yevgeny Pobozhy’s quintet.

In addition to the music show, thanks to sponsorship, viewers will be able to take part in a large cultural and entertainment program.
