Igor Butman will take part in the “Russian Seasons”

Igor Butman, President of the Authors’ Council of Russian Authors’ Society, will perform at the “Russian Seasons” International Cultural Festival. The project is organized for the audience of France, Belgium and Luxembourg, the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation reported.

The program will also include Valery Gergiev, Anna Netrebko, Svetlanov State Symphony Orchestra of Russia, Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra, Bolshoi Symphony Orchestra (BSO), National Youth Symphony Orchestra and other.

Performances of Svetlanov State Orchestra of Russia Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra together with the laureates of Tchaikovsky Competition under the direction of Gergiev, the Moscow Virtuosi Orchestra under the direction of Vladimir Spivakov, the MusicAeterna Orchestra under the direction of Theodor Currentzis are planned in France, the Bolshoi Symphony Orchestra and Anna Netrebko will give concerts in Belgium, National Youth Symphony Orchestra – in France and Belgium. Igor Butman’s quintet is expected in Belgium and Luxembourg, the Mariinsky Theater artists – in France and Luxembourg.

In addition to musical performances, foreign viewers will be able to see a traveling exhibition of the Patriarchal Council for Culture with the support of the Ministry of Culture “UNESCO World Heritage. Pskov Churches”, which will be held in France, Belgium and Luxembourg.

The free online service ‘Stay home with Russian Seasons’ has been extended until the end of summer. The service brings together materials from leading Russian creative teams, as well as cultural institutions – participants in the “Russian Seasons”. As part of the project, 44 broadcasts have already taken place, which have collected more than 23 million views.
